What's better than relaxing during the winter months to enjoy the pause in domestic football and enjoy a once in a lifetime FIFA Winter World Cup? Well, a Wild Card version of the 2022 FIFA World Cup of course.

Here at "World Cup Wild Card" we have created a concept of combining the joys of crypto, NFT's, and the FIFA World Cup all together in one place. Surely at one stage or another you have all taken part in a group of friends picking your favourite team to win the tournament, with bragging rights going to the winning guess. How about combining that concept with people from all around the world and having a chance to win crypto while you are at it?

The core idea is simple. The FIFA World Cup kicks off on the 20th of November 2022 in Qatar, with 32 nations battling it out to be crowned the best in the world. Here is your chance to get your Nation NFT and back them all the way to the final.

So many projects speak about giving back, either to its community or to a charity of some sort. While its commendable to those who do give to charity, it is also worth noting how in these recessionary times all of us could do with a little help. Therefore we plan on giving back to our investors, those who hold the NFT's once the FIFA World Cup is complete in December.

There will be NFT's available of individual Nations participating at the tournament. Currently there are 50 versions of each Nation available, meaning the total of 32 competing teams will create 1600 NFT's! On top of that 50 Gold Wild Cards have been hidden amongst the NFT's, bringing the total up to 1650 with special prizes for Gold Wild Card Holders!

Everyone wants Brazil. Everyone wants Argentina. Everyone wants Germany, England, France, Portugal, is that right? Not with "World Cup Wild Card" you won't, as you don't get the choice. It really is a wildcard. Consider it like purchasing a lottery ticket, whatever you get is yours. Seeing as some nations are unlikely to be as successful as others in the tournament it would not be fair to only reward those who hold the NFT of the victorious nation. Instead, there will be prizes for:

 

• the winning nation

• the runner up

• the third place playoff winner

• the worst performing team(s) in the group stages

 

This way no matter who you draw, there is a chance of success.

 

As you can see there is a lot to play for and the aim is to give back prize's in crypto the same way the NFT's are purchased. With the project launching on Polygon, and a fixed price set on nation wildcards, the overall aim is to see around 60% of the revenue returned to the investors. That's right! From buying your nation to them winning the tournament, you can pocket a potential return of 10x!!

 

That's 50 winners alone who can maximize their investment while enjoying the tournament with another team to support besides their own country, and that's just for the winning nation. All the above mentioned rewards will see investors get back more than they put in.

 

Of course not everyone can be a winner and some will lose out, but that is all part and parcel of the fun.

With royalties on secondary sales going back into the overall revenue fund, the more overall sales and secondary sales means the higher the overall prize pool can go. There will be some hidden surprises and gems among the NFT's to give lucky holders the chance of winning even more prizes and getting a return on their investment along with their original NFT.

How can this grow after the FIFA World Cup is completed I hear you ask? Will it just be a dead in the water project where you had a one time chance of winning, albeit a great chance at that. Of course not. This is just the beginning. The idea behind "World Cup Wild Card" is to be the beginning. The more revenue generated in "World Cup Wild Card" the bigger the prizes, while also seeing more money going back into the development of creating more fun lotteries and events like this. If there is one thing we are passionate about then it is giving back to those who hold our NFT's.
